Who is Peoplemovers? Peoplemovers.com, Inc. – based in Detroit, Michigan - is an internet technology company that specializes in creating online community networks for non-profit and for-profit organizations. These networks allow organizations to grow their relationships with customers, volunteers, residents, students, suppliers, donors and supporters so they can grow and, in the process, create healthy communities. Helping people and communities is part of our “DNA” as the company was originally founded in 2003 by Keith Zendler as a small grassroots community outreach program in the inner-city of Detroit. Our simple concepts for building relationships gradually evolved into a broad-based scope of networking, training, promotion, recognition and educational programs for communities. In 2008, the decision was made to separate the internet technology component of the organization into a "for profit" entity to make growth and paying the bills simpler with a sizable portion of the proceeds to be reinvested into non-profit organizations and communities through The Peoplemovers Foundation, a private foundation formed to support relationship-based community development.
